John George Kramer Passed away peacefully at Briarfield Place in Boardman, May 16, 2025.
He was born June 15,1932, the son of the late John and Mary Kramer.
John grew up on the West Side of Youngstown, a 1950 graduate of Chaney High School.
He married Margaret (Gonci) Kramer on May 16,1956, sadly Margaret passed away September 4, 2021.
John joined the Navy where he learned sheet metal mechanics.
After his service, he became an apprentice in sheet metal mechanics, where he worked for his entire career.
He was a member of Catholic War Veterans John J Buckley Post 1292.
And was a proud member of the Sheet Metal Workers Union.
He enjoyed woodworking and gardening and was an avid bird watcher
A lifelong Catholic and parishioner of Our Lady of Sorrows Parish - St Matthias Church and a
member of Holy Name Society.
John leaves to cherish his memory, sons Dr. Daniel J (Julie) of Valrico, FL and Jack (Coleen) of Las Vegas, NV ; son-in-law Rob Ariza of Boardman, OH; his Grandchildren, Kaitlin(Andy) O'Malley, Haley Kramer, Megan Kramer, and Jordan McDede and numerous nieces and nephews.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Margaret, his daughter, Linda, his brother, Bernie(Lucille), his sister Irene(Rudy) Hudak. His brother-in-law, Robert(Mary) Gonci and brother-in-law Andrew Gonci.
Family and friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday May 22, 2025, at Kubina-Yuhasz-Wasko Funeral Home 5925 Market St. Boardman.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday May 23, 2025, at Our Lady of Sorrows Parish , St. Matthias Church celebrated by Rev. John Jerek .
Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery where he will be laid to rest next to his wife. .
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Kubina, Yuhasz, Wasko Funeral Home, 5925 Market St. Boardman, Ohio 44512.
