John J. Crnarich, 89

Columbiana… A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at Christ the Good Shepherd Parish at St. Joseph the Provider Catholic Church, for John J. Crnarich, 89, who passed away Monday evening.

John was born February 13, 1927, in Hillsville, Pennsylvania, the son of Joseph and Theresa Perman Crnarich.

He was a graduate of Struthers High School and served in the US Navy.

John worked at General Fireproofing, making office furniture.  He retired after more than 30+ years of service.

He was a member of St. Joseph the Provider Catholic Church.

His wife, the former Virginia M. Binko, whom he married May 8, 1948, passed away October 31, 2007.

John is survived by a son, Thomas (Janet) Crnarich of Struthers and grandsons, Jason and Matthew Crnarich; a son Richard (Geraldine) Crnarich of Poland and grandchildren, Heidi (Nathan) Gugliotti and Bryan (Rachael) Crnarich; great-grandchildren, Alexis and Kaitlyn Gugliotti, and Brayden and Riley Crnarich; a daughter, Diane (Robert) Dickey of Columbiana and grandchildren, Travis and Trisha Dickey; and his sister, Anne Tonya of New Middletown.

Besides his parents; and his wife, Virginia, he was preceded in death by his sister, Theresa Caggiano; and his brother, Albert Crnarich.

The Crnarich family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home and will receive family and friends Saturday morning from 9-10:00 a.m. at the Church, prior to the 10:00 a.m. funeral mass
