Dr. Jeffry M. Palusak, 59 Youngstown…A Panachida Service will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. at the Wasko Funeral Home, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:30 a.m. at St. Michael's Byzantine Catholic Church with Father Basile Marchak officiating, for Jeffry M. Palusak, 59, who passed away Monday afternoon. Jeffry was born February 22, 1954, in Youngstown, the son of Michael and Helen Banchansky Palusak. He attended St. John the Baptist Catholic Grade School, was a 1972 graduate of Campbell Memorial High School and a 1978 graduate of the Ohio State University College of Dentistry. Jeffry went on to serve his dental internship at Florida State Hospital. He retired as a dentist after serving the Mahoning Valley for 30 years. He was a member of St. Michael's Byzantine Catholic Church, St. John Roman Catholic Church in Campbell and the American Dental Association. Jeffry, along with a group of fellow dentists, traveled to Haiti to provide free dental care to the people of Haiti. He leaves to cherish his memories, his parents, Michael and Helen Palusak of Campbell; his brother and sister-in-law, Dave and Patricia Palusak of Poland; two nieces, Cara and Caitlin Palusak also of Poland; and his aunt, Dolores Basic of Boardman. The Palusak family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home and will receive friends Friday morning from 10-11:00 a.m. at the Funeral Home.
