Jason W. Laskowski, 36

Tempe, AZ…Funeral services will be held Monday at Noon at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, with Rev. Phillip Rogers officiating, for Jason W. Laskowski, 36, formerly of Boardman, who unexpectedly passed away October 27, in Tempe, Arizona.

Jason was born September 16, 1980, in Youngstown, the son of Walter A. and Debra A. Svagerko Laskowski.

He was a 1999 graduate of Cardinal Mooney High School and attended Columbia Green University in New York and the Illinois Institute of Art in Chicago.

Jason was an exceptional baseball player and even made it to the Arizona Diamondback Instructional League.

Jason leaves to cherish his memories, his parents, Walter and Debra of Boardman and his sister, Kristin M. Laskowski Pensyl (Adam) of Mt. Pleasant, SC; his aunt, Jeannie (John) Danker of Columbus; his uncles, Carl (Annette) Svagerko and Jim Svagerko, all of Columbus; his cousins, Carl Svagerko, Jill Danker, Hannah Svagerko and Jenny Danker; and many other relatives and close friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents; Walter A. and Lottie Laskowski; and Carl J. Svagerko and Monica Jean Svagerko Sofranec.

The Laskowski Family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home and will receive family and friends Monday from 10-12:00 p.m. at St. Charles Borromeo Church.
