YOUNGSTOWN – A hour of calling will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. on Friday, July 27, 2018 followed immediately by a Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. at Faith Community Covenant Church, 1919 E. Midlothian Blvd. , Youngstown, Ohio, 44502, for Irene Leda Veynovich, 91, who passed away on July 23, 2018.

Irene was born August 3, 1926 in New York City, a daughter of the late Patrick J. and Sophia Sheehan. She married her husband Bryan Veynovich, Sr. on May 18, 1947. Together they raised two sons.

She worked as a long lines operator at ATT and at McKelvey's Department store. Irene was an amazing cook, she loved to garden, and also enjoyed dogs.

Irene leaves behind to cherish her memories, her sons Mitchell (Diana) of Ormond Beach, FL. And Dr. Bryan (Darlene) of Sewickley, PA; her grandson Marc (Lynn) Veynovich; two great grandsons Matthew and Nicholas and her canine companion Lacey.

She was preceded in death by her husband Bryan Sr. and her brother Walter Sesevich.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that material donations be made to the Animal Charity Humane Society, 4140 Market St., Boardman, Ohio, 44512, in Irene's honor.

The Veynovich family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Kubina-Yuhasz-Wasko Funeral Home.
