Obituary

Campbell: Funeral services will be held 9:30am Saturday at the Wasko Funeral Home and 10am in St. Michael Byzantine Catholic Church for Helen C. VanSuch, 85 who passed away Monday evening. Helen was born May 3, 1926 in Campbell, the daughter of Michael G. and Mary E. Nagy Rusnak and was a life long area resident. She was a June 1944 graduate of Campbell Memorial High School. Helen worked at The Youngstown Letter Shop in downtown Youngstown for 10 years then retired in 1990 from Youngstown State University as an Offset Operator after 15years of service. She was a member of the church; the Altar and Rosary Society, the Infant Jesus Guild, the Greek Catholic Union Lodge #360 and a former member of St. Vincent DePaul Society. She leaves to cherish her memory one daughter Denise (Dominic) Cutrone of Campbell; 3 sons, Duane (Anne) of Struthers, David (Sandy) of Summerville, SC and John (Barbara) of Rancho Santa Margarita, CA.; 2 brothers Steve of Struthers and Ronald of Youngstown; 3 sisters Irene Chrislip of San Clemente, Ca, Margaret Chuparkoff of Copley and Regina Yurick of Struthers and eight grandchildren Gregg, Jennifer, Carla, Dominic, Mary Catherine, John, David and Adam. She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 infant sons, Charles and John; 3 brothers Emery, Michael and George Rusnak and one sister Mrs. Mary Sajnovsky. The VanSuch family wishes to thank the staff and residents of The Assumption Village for the care and love they extended to Helen and her family. The VanSuch family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home and will receive friends on Friday from 5-8pm.
