Poland: Former Cynthia Drive resident Helen Marie Maro, 92, passed away the evening of April 24th at the Woodlands at Hampton Woods. Born in Campbell on January 12, 1920, Helen was the daughter of the late Joseph Seman and Veronica Christofcik Seman. On August 27, 1940 she married Joseph J. Maro. He preceded her in death on February 1, 2008. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and was a former Treasurer of the First Catholic Slovak Ladies?¢ Association Branch 501. She is survived by four sons, Joseph Jr. (Joan) Maro of Poland, Edward (Marilyn) Maro of Bradenton Beach, Florida, John (Louise) Maro of Lowellville, and Rick (Peggy) Maro of Youngstown; eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, Helen was preceded in death by her infant daughter Frances; her sister Margaret Reno and brothers Joseph and John Seman. The Maro family would like to thank the staff of Hampton Woods in the ââ?¬Å?Bentley쳌 wing for the care given to their loved one Helen. The Maro family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home and will receive friends on Friday from 5-8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home, and a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Campbell.
