Helen L. VanSuch, 90 OLDSMAR, FLA. - A Panahida service will be held Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. at the Wasko Funeral Home, followed by a Divine Liturgy at noon at St. Michael Byzantine Catholic Church, officiated by Fr. Kevin Marks, for Helen L. VanSuch, 90, formerly of Campbell, who passed away Thursday morning. She was born Aug. 22, 1925, in Campbell, the daughter, Andrew and Antonia Muretic Verbnak. Helen, along with her husband, Thomas VanSuch Sr., owned and operated Van's Tavern. Later, she worked as a bookkeeper with J&L Copier Sales until her retirement. She was a member of St. Michael Byzantine Catholic Church, the Croatian Federated Union, Lodge 185, and the Greek Catholic Union. Helen is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Thomas and Elizabeth VanSuch of Oldsmar and Terrence and Deborah VanSuch of Louisville, Oh.; her granddaughters and spouses, Jillian and Brett Frank of Akron and Teri and Jon Gorski of North Canton; and her brother-in-law, Robert Domanich of Campbell. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas R. VanSuch Sr; her sisters, Frances Sich, Patricia Gwizdale and Tillie "Mitzi" Domanich; and her two brothers, Frank and Andrew Verbnak. The VanSuch family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home and will receive family and friends Monday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
