Obituary

Boardman: Funeral services will be held Monday, 10am at the Wasko Funeral Home in Campbell and 10:30am in St. John Catholic Church for Helen J. Adamko, 90 who passed away Friday morning in Beeghly Oaks. Helen was born Feb. 4, 1921 in Campbell, the daughter of John and Elizabeth Matcko Estok and was a life long area resident. Helen formerly lived on Buell Ave. in Campbell. Besides being a homemaker, early in life Helen worked for the Triangle Rain Coat Co. in Youngstown. Her husband, George R. Adamko whom she married on May 5, 1945 passed away Jan. 28, 2003. Helen was a good wife, mother and grandmother, and enjoyed caring for her family, especially cooking and baking delicious meals. She leaves to cherish her memory 2 daughters Norine (Larry) Blasko of Boardman and Nancy (Doug) Mott of Maryland; 5 grandchildren, Brad Blasko, Tracee (Kenny) Maxie, Adrienne Liszka, Nick Mott and Molly Mott; great-grandchildren, Kalee and Tyler Blasko and Kierra Maxie; a brother-in-law Jim (Pap) Rich and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son Norman; 5 sisters, Dolores, Mary, Anna, Pauline and Margaret and 3 brothers Joseph, John and Stephen. The family would like to thank the entire staff of Beeghly Oaks for the excellent care they provided Helen. The Adamko family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home and will receive friends on Sunday from 4-7pm where there will be a 7pm Cursillo Bible Vigil.
