Hazel A. Fakner, 85 Campbell…Funeral services will be held Monday, October 20th at 11:00 a.m. at the Wasko Funeral Home, with Pastor Bill Rotar officiating for Hazel A. Fakner, 85, who passed away Thursday morning. Hazel was born March 27, 1929, in Woodland, Maryland, the daughter of Thomas and Laura Miller Neider. She resided in Struthers as a child and later moved to Campbell. Hazel leaves to cherish her memories her children, Steve Jr. (Patricia) of Campbell, Paula (Donald) Michaels of Campbell, Colleen Fakner of Struthers, Dr. Regina (Dr. Alan Webb) Fakner-Webb of Florida, and Thomas J. (Kimberly) Fakner of California. She also leaves 13 grandchildren, Steven (Pam) Fakner, Lori (Frank) Castro, Brian (Trisha) Fakner, Tami (Jay) Darr, Tara (Ray) Ulrich, Ryan (Ellie) Fakner, Jonathan (Emily) Fakner, Ashley (Chris) Butcher, Devin Fakner, Margo Baye, Claire Webb, and Breeanna and Dustin Bratsveen. Hazel also leaves 20 great-grandchildren, Tyler, Sara and Kayla Darr, Emily Hefferon, Matthew and David Fakner, Frank and Jeremy Castro, Robert Young, Jonah, Gianna, and Nicholas Fakner, William Bratsveen, Noelle Fakner, Lilly, Sarah, and Christopher Butcher, Logan Jones, Liam Fakner, and Alivia Fakner. Siblings left to cherish her memory are Rachel Cornthwaite, June Boehm, Mary Corll, and Barbara Gentile. She was preceded in death by her husband, Steve Fakner, Sr., whom she married March 1, 1947 and who passed away February 11, 2008; and her brother, Thomas Neider. The Fakner family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home and will receive family and friends Sunday, October 19th from 5-8:00 p.m.
