Obituary

Gina M. Pascarella, 37 Boardman….Funeral services will be held at 4pm Saturday at the Wasko Funeral Home in Campbell, with Fr. Michael Swierz officiating for, Gina Marie Pascarella, 37, of Boardman, who passed away early Saturday morning at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Boardman Campus. Gina was born on May 20th, 1976, in Youngstown the daughter of Gene and Phyllis LaRubbio Pascarella She graduated from Austintown Fitch High School and went on to obtain a degree in Health Information Technology from National College. Gina was athletic, playing basketball and softball during her high school years. She spent time working in the service industry and the home health care industry. She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter, Hannah Marie Brown, whom she loved with all her heart; a brother, Gino Michael Pascarella; her mother, Phyllis "Frosty" (Allan McCamon) Pascarella; her step-mother Dolores Pascarella; a step-sister Lisa Eaton; her grandmother, Phyllis LaRubbio; aunts, Jo (Stu Banks) Manos, Fran (Mike) Timlin, and Ruth LaRubbio; and she also leaves behind many cousins who loved her deeply. Gina was preceded in death by her father, Gene Pascarella; maternal grandfather, Frank LaRubbio; an uncle, Morris LaRubbio; and her cousin Christopher Manos, whom she was especially close to, and who is with her in heaven. Gina was known for her loyalty, generosity, and her amazingly welcoming personality. She always had a smile on her face and left everyone who she came in contact with in better spirits for having seen her. She made friends wherever she went and even random acquaintances seemed to be drawn to and want to talk to her. She was genuinely loved by everyone in her life and her passing is a great loss to many, as she made the world a better place. The Pascarella family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home in Campbell and will receive family and friends from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m., on Saturday, February 22nd.
