COLUMBIANA – Funeral services will be held at 6:00 PM on Thursday, November 2, 2017 at the Kubina Yuhasz Wasko Funeral Home, celebrated by Pastor Jeff Swogger, for Frank Polchak Jr., 77, who passed away suddenly on October 27, 2017.

Frank was born in on September 21, 1940, a son of Frank and Agnes Baytos Polchak. Frank was a veteran of the United States Air Force. Frank worked for the former Youngstown Sheet and Tube until it closed.

Frank enjoyed spending time outdoors hunting and fishing and generally keeping busy. He had a big personality and loved being a prankster to his family. He was a wonderful caretaker to his wife, and loved spoiling his daughters and grandchildren.

Frank leaves behind to cherish his memory, his beloved wife, the former Jacqueline Jones,  whom he celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary last year on November 21st, his daughters, Michele (fiancé Chris Moore) DiMuzio of Salem and Jill (Ashish) Shah of New Albany, his  grandchildren, Ava, Zander, Tanner, Alec, Mila, and Trajan, and a brother, Ronald (Lorraine) Polchak of Pueblo, CO.

Frank's family has entrusted his care to the Kubina Yuhasz Wasko Funeral Home, where they will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Thursday. Military honors will be rendered following the services at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that material contributions be made to the Brad McFadden Scholarship Fund, 6899 State Route 150, Dillonvale, OH 43917 in Frank's memory.
