Obituary

Campbell….Funeral services will be held 9:30a.m. Saturday at the Wasko Funeral Home and 10a.m. in Christ the Good Shepherd Parish at St. Joseph the Provider Catholic Church for Frances A. Valerio, 70, who passed away Tuesday afternoon. Frances was born May 10, 1943 in Youngstown, the daughter of Ralph and Sally Fabian Stellato. She was a 1961 graduate of East High School. Frances was a warehouse worker at Tamco, and various other warehouses in the area. She was a member of Christ the Good Shepherd Parish at St. Joseph the Provider Catholic Church and the First Catholic Slovak Jednota #161. She loved cooking, gardening and flowers. Frances also enjoyed traveling to Las Vegas, going to the casinos, and playing lottery tickets. Most of all, Frances loved her granddaughter, who was the apple of her eye. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Joseph Valerio of Campbell, whom she married September 28, 1963; her sons Joseph, Jr. (fiancée, Sandra) and Mark (Debbie) all of Campbell; her granddaughter, Taylor Valerio of Campbell; a sister, Helene (Richard) Tancabel of Youngstown; a brother, Ralph (Peggy) Stellato of Boardman; her brother-in-law, Larry (Caroline) Valerio of Campbell; a sister-in-law, Carmel (John) Morski of Girard; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her mother and father-in-law, Vince and Theresa Valerio The Valerio family would like to especially thank Dr. Robert Spratt and his staff, Dr. Garg and his staff, St. Elizabeth Hospital 4th Floor Progressive Intermediate and Shepherd of the Valley for the wonderful care and compassion they gave to Frances. The Valerio family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home and will receive friends on Friday from 5-7:00 p.m.
