Southport, N.C.: Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Archangel Michael Greek Orthodox Church in Campbell for Frances Mastorides, 96, who passed away Saturday in Southport. Mrs. Mastorides was born in Symi, Greece in 1915. She married Arist Mastorides in 1937 and came to the United States. She was active at the Archangel Michael Greek Orthodox Church. She enjoyed traveling, sewing, and cooking. She was the beloved mother of Nick Mastorides of Southport and Fay M. Rellas of Naples, Fla.; her grandchildren are Arist Mastorides, Vicki Nesper, Peter Rellas, and the late Aris Rellas; her six great-grandchildren are Alex, Nick, Katie, Paul, Abby, and Nick. The Mastorides family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home and will receive friends Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Archangel Michael Greek Orthodox Church.
