Warren: Eugene R. Shapshe, 66 of Boardman, went home to be with the Lord and Savior on August 25, 2012 after a ten month struggle due to complications from an accident. Born in Youngstown, he was raised in Campbell by his beloved Aunt, the late Ann Shapshe. He was a 1967 graduate of Campbell Memorial High School where he learned to draw and create beautiful artwork. Eugene also worked for the State Liquor Store in the Lincoln Knolls Plaza. He loved to help his friends whenever they needed help. He loved the Southern Park Mall and spent countless hours there making people smile at the colorful hats he made and wore. He was preceded in death by his father, mother, grandparents and aunts. The Shapshe has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home and will receive friends Tuesday morning from 10-11:00 a.m. A prayer service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Eugene will be sadly missed by all of his friends.
