Girard: Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Christ Episcopal Church in Warren, with Father Jeffrey Baker officiating for Ethel M. (Harrison) Macchio, 85, who passed away Tuesday evening atNorthside Medical Center. Ethel was born Nov. 13, 1926, in Bethlehem, Pa., the daughter of Joseph and Helen Som Harrison. Ethel was a member of the former St. Rocco?¢s Church in Youngstown. She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter, Helen at home; a sister, Irene (Patrick) McCarthy of Youngstown; a sister-in-law, Marie Harrison of Poland; special friends, Sandy and Teresa; many nieces and nephews; and many friends and extended family members. Ethel was preceded in death by her husband, Albert J. Macchio, whom she married on June 3, 1950, and who died Jan. 11, 1987; a sister, Helen Stizza; brothers Nick Young, Joseph Harrison, Steve Harrison and Sonny Harrison. Helen would like to thank the staff of Omni Manor for the love and care of her mom during her short stay and Northside Medical Center, 2 Northeast Floor for the wonderful care they gave her mom in her final days. The Macchio family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home in Campbell and will receive friends Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
