Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11:30 a.m. at the Wasko Funeral Home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 p.m. at Christ Our Savior Parish at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, with Rev. Bob Bonnot officiating, for Eleanor R. Pavalko, 86, formerly of Struthers, who passed away Friday evening at the home of her great-niece Debbie Pryor, with whom she made her home for the past two years in Willowick.

Mrs. Pavalko was born June 12, 1929, in Campbell, the daughter of Martin and Mary Klimko Sebest.

She was a 1949 graduate of Campbell Memorial High School and was a homemaker.

Mrs. Pavalko was a member of Christ Our Savior Parish at St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Struthers and the First Catholic Slovak Ladies Association.

She enjoyed listening to polka music, dancing, playing bingo and cards and was a master at puzzles.

Eleanor is survived by her husband, Henry Pavalko, whom she married April 14, 1951; her children, Karen Budd of Berlin Center, Robert (Judy) Pavalko of Boardman, Terri Ann Pavalko of Colorado Springs, and Kenneth (Victoria) Pavalko of Struthers; her four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and her two sisters, Anne Spirko of Struthers, and Dorothy Desput of Pulaski.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a grandson, Nathan Charles Pavalko; her sisters, Mary Check, Margaret Sebest, Helen Mazarik, Julia Trill, and Irene Walko; and her brothers, John, Steve, Michael and Edward Sebest.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Eleanor's name to Hospice of the Western Reserve in Cleveland.

The Pavalko family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home and will receive family and friends Thursday from 10:30-11:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
