Edward G. Mazon, Sr. 70 Campbell…A memorial service will be held Friday at 1:00 p.m. at Christ Community Church, with Pastor Dan Yargo officiating for Edward G. Mazon, Sr. 70, who passed December 27, 2014. Edward was born November 16, 1944, in Pittsburgh, the son of the late John William and Ruth Gladys (Coon) Mazon. Edward was a Veteran of the U.S. Army. He worked as a truck driver and millright, where he retired from WCI Steel with 15 years of service. Edward leaves to mourn his loss, his wife, the former Dorothy Sharon Clouston, whom he married June 19, 1970; his sons, Dale (Will) Kelly of Lawndale, NC and Charles (Sharon) Mazon of New Springfield; daughters, Rebecca (James) Rakes of Fort Myers and Sherrie Mazon of Campbell; daughters-in-law, Sue Mazon of Youngstown and Sophie Kennedy-Chamberlain of Suffolk, Virginia; grandsons, Derrick Mazon, Scott Mazon and Alex Mazon; granddaughters, Michele Kelly, Katie Kelly, Ashley Mazon and Sarah Mazon; brothers, John Mazon of Uniontown, PA., David (Janet) Mazon, and Ralph (Cathy) Mazon, both of Washington, Pa.; his sisters, Virginia (Robert) Isherwood of Pittsburgh, Joyce Watson of Uniontown, PA, and Lorraine Welch of Pittsburgh, his foster brother, William Freier of Washington, Pa.; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his son, Edward "Butch" Mazon, Jr.; his sisters, Edith Tate and Shirley Munroe; and a brother, Robert Mazon. The Mazon family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home and will receive family and friends from 12-1:00 p.m. at Christ Community Church, 531 Neoka Dr., Campbell.
