Obituary

Campbell: Private family services were held Thursday at the Wasko Funeral Home for Duane Daniel Spatar who was born July 21, 1948 and passed away April 16, 2012 at the Hospice House. He was the son of Daniel R. Spatar and Ann Ostanoski Spatar. Duane served our country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War and was a radio operator on the USS Keppler. Duane retired from the former U.S. Can Corporation in Hubbard having worked there since 1971. His hobbies were ham radio and golfing. He was preceded in death by his father, Daniel Spatar, his Aunt Betty Maddick; Uncle?¢s George Spatar, Walter Ostanoski, Steve Ostanoski and Louis Ostanoski; and both of his grandparents Ostanoski and Spatar. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Marnie Coffelt Spatar, whom he married November 18, 1972; his daughter Stephanie Ann Spatar of Las Vegas; his mother Ann Spatar of Campbell; Aunts?¢ Mary and Josephine Ostanoski of Campbell; Aunt Rhea and Uncle Toni Romeo of Poland and many cousins and second cousins. The family would like to express their sincere thanks to Dr. Adrian Ieraci and the Hospice House for their kindness and care during this time. In lieu of flowers friends may send contributions to Hospice of the Valley, 5190 Market Street, Youngstown, Ohio 44512. The Spatar family has entrusted the arrangements of their loved one to the Wasko Funeral Home.
