David L. Lesnak, 66 CAMPBELL - Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at noon at the Wasko Funeral Home, with Pastor Dan Yargo officiating, for David L. Lesnak, 66, who passed away Thursday at St. Elizabeth Health Center. David was born March 9, 1949, in Youngstown, the son of Joseph and Catherine Rosenberger Lesnak. He was a 1967 graduate of Campbell Memorial High School and a lifelong area resident. David was in the skilled trades as a machine repairman at General Motors, where he worked for over 40 years. He enjoyed music and was a drummer in the Campbell Memorial Marching Band, and the Warren Jr. Military band. David was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved spending time outdoors and camping. He was a loving and dedicated husband, father and grandfather. David loved to entertain his family and friends, and was happiest when they surrounded him. David leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, the former Rochelle Rich, whom he married Sept. 29, 1973; his children, Erin Lesnak of Canfield, Lauren (Lesnak) Grippa (fiance Randy Stebelton) of Athens; and his son, David Lesnak also of Athens; his grandson, Sebastian Grippa of Athens; brothers Joseph (Sharmon) Lesnak of Youngstown and Jan (Cheryl) Lesnak of Campbell; his sister, Christine (Dave) McMillan of Grafton; and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Catherine Lesnak; son-in-law Michael Grippa; his sister-in-law, Kathleen Rich; his brother, Raymond Lesnak; and his father and mother-in-law, James and Ann Rich. The Lesnak family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home and will receive family and friends on Monday from 5 to 8 p.m. and again Tuesday morning from 11 a.m. to noon at the funeral home.
