Campbell…Funeral services will be held Saturday at 9:30 a.m. at the Wasko Funeral Home and at 10:00 a.m. at Christ the Good Shepherd Parish at Sta. Rosa de lima Catholic Church for Cynthia A. Santiago, 53, of Campbell, who passed away Sunday morning.
Cynthia was born June 17, 1959, in Youngstown, the daughter of Richard and Valentina Cutrone Lindsay.
She was a 1977 graduate of Campbell Memorial High School.
Cynthia was employed as a Dietary Associate of Valley Care (Northside Hospital) for 17 years.
She was an avid bingo player and she enjoyed playing Texas Hold-em with her family. She liked working puzzles and most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Cynthia leaves to cherish her memories, her husband, Felix P. Santiago, whom she married may 15, 1996; two daughters, Lannie (Tom) Turek of Boardman and Ashley Santiago of Canfield; three sons, Christopher Lindsay, Sr. of Campbell, Eric (Christina) Hassen of Boardman and Anthony Hassen, Jr. of Campbell; three sisters, Mary Lee (Nick) Skaleris, Laura (Joseph) Snitzer, and Gina (Todd) Bascom, all of Campbell; a brother, Richard (Lorraine) Lindsay of Manassas, Va.; and her grandchildren, Christopher Lindsay, Jr., Andrew Turek, Mackenzie Hughes; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her step-father, John Kopey; and a nephew, Joseph Snitzer, Jr.
The Santiago family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home and will receive friends Friday from 5-7:00 p.m.
