BRONX, NY – A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM on Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at the Kubina Yuhasz Wasko Funeral Home, celebrated by Naomi Lopez for Cruz Fonseca, who passed away peacefully on March 25, 2019.

Cruz was born on November 26, 1927 in Caguas, Puerto Rico, a daughter of the late Marcelino and Juana Castro Fonseca. She completed elementary in Caguas

Cruz worked she was a Lunchroom School Aide for over 40 years. She loved sewing, planting and cooking.  She also loved babysitting

Cruz leaves behind to cherish her memory, nieces and nephews Alma Sepulveda, Norma Mendez, Lillian Cruz, Steven Fonseca, Edwin Fonseca and Anthony Fonseca.

Other than her parents, her siblings, Pedro, Hipolito, Lydia, and Maria Fonseca, and her parents Marcelino Fonseca and Juana Castro preceded her in death.

The family has entrusted the care of Cruz to the Kubina Yuhasz Wasko Funeral Home where they will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Monday, April 1, 2019 and again one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Lake Park Cemetery.
