Youngstown-Funeral services will be held at the Munoz-Laboy-Luis Funeral Home in Yabucoa, Puerto Rico for Cirilo Montanez, 82 who passed away peacefully on Saturday at St. Elizabeth Hospital?¢s Main Campus surrounded by his family. Cirilo was born July 9, 1929 in Yabucoa Puerto Rico the son of Eluterio and Maria Lebron Montanez. He retired from Youngstown Sheet and Tube (Campbell Works), where he worked for 33 years. Cirilo enjoyed working on cars, riding his horse and chatting with friends and neighbors. He had a wonderful sense of humor and will be missed by his family and friends. Cirilo leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 56 years the former Esperanza Gonzalez; his children Maria Montanez of Boardman, Gladys (Craig) Heinrichs of Fishers, Indiana, Aida (Terry) Gongaware of Salem, Enrique (Noelia) Montanez of Lowellville, David (Nora) Montanez of Campbell and Delia (Tim) McCaffery of Houston Texas; eight grandchildren, Joshua Graham, Justin and Kayla Heinrichs, Manuel Figueroa, Christian and Alessandra Montanez, Antonio and Julianna Montanez; and 1 great grandson Isaac Graham. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and three sisters. The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Matteo and the staff at St. Elizabeth Hospital and Bee Cruz for all their help and compassion. The Montanez family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home.
