Struthers…A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday at 5:00 p.m. at Christ the Good Shepherd Parish at St. Lucy Catholic Church for Charles "Cliff" Jamieson, 56, who passed away early Saturday morning from an early onset of Alzheimer's disease. "Cliff" was born May 12, 1956, the son of Charles and Deanne McDuffie Jamieson. He was a 1974 graduate of Girard High School and a 1980 graduate of Youngstown State University. Cliff was a teacher in the Struthers City School District from 1980 until his retirement on July 1, 2011 after being diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer's disease. He was a member of St. Lucy Catholic Church. Cliff enjoyed coaching and began his career under is father, "Charlie" in Girard. He also coached in Struthers and Lowellville. Cliff's passions in life included the Cleveland Browns, Cavaliers and Indians. He also enjoyed rooting for the Ohio State Buckeyes. He was an active member in the Mahoning County Democratic Party. He leaves to cherish his memory, his parents; his wife, the former, Marybeth Rudolphi, whom he married November 29, 1991; his daughters, Sara Zetts of Cloumbus and Julie Anne Zetts at home; his sons, Stephen and Kevin Jamieson; his brothers, Scott and Eric Jamieson; his brother and sister in-laws, Grace (Bill) Boros, Carmel (Al) Gerlick, Franklin (Rose) Rudolphi, Alberta (Dr. John) Popovec, Eddie (Ginny) Rudolphi, Debbie and Sherry Jamieson; and several nieces and nephews who adored him. Cliff was preceded in death by his grandparents; his brother, Kurt Jamieson; and his father and mother in-law, John and Frances (Rudolphi) Kollar. The Jamieson family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home and will receive friends Tuesday from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m. at Christ the Good Shepherd Parish at St. Lucy Catholic Church in Campbell.
