Obituary

BOARDMAN – Carol Marie Paul, 84, passed away early Monday morning, May 12, 2025, at Mercy Health Center in Boardman.

Carol was born on November 14, 1941, in Lisbon, Ohio, a daughter of the late Charles and Nellie (Boso) Snay, Sr.  She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Columbiana, where she sang in the church choir.  She worked as head crane follower at LTV Steel for many years.

She is survived by a granddaughter Jacqueline Paul, brothers Roger and Thomas Snay, and sisters Vera Bortmas, Debrah Herald and Marjorie Ballard.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter Jacqueline Paul, son Stephen J. Paul, brothers Richard and Charles E. Snay Jr., and sisters Kathryn Mills, Dorothy Snay, Ruth Knight and Laura Surmaceviz.

Per Carol's wishes, there will be no calling hours or services.

The family has entrusted Kubina Yuhasz Wasko Funeral Home in Boardman, Ohio with the arrangements for their loved one.
