Carmel (Morabito) Hageal, 86 Boardman….Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Friday at St. Charles Catholic Church in Boardman for Carmel Morabito Hageal, 86 who passed away on January 21, 2014 at her home in Boardman. Carmel was born, Feb. 12, 1927 in Niles, a daughter of Salvatore and Angeline Pulgisi Morabito. Carmel was a pioneer business woman owner in the Youngstown and Boardman areas of creative design in women's fashion clothing and apparel. She is survived by her sister Irene who resides in Sun City Arizona; her sons, Joseph Landis (Pamela Porter) and James Landis, all of Canfield Ohio. Additionally, she is survived by her four grandchildren, Darren Landis, Lauren Landis Kaleel, Tyler Landis, and Kendra Landis, all of Canfield Ohio; 5 Nephews; 2 Nieces; and she also leaves behind a son of her heart, Sam Orr. She was preceded in death by her parents; her sisters Mary, Anna, and Martha, and her brother, Joseph. The Hageal family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home in Campbell and will receive friends on Friday, from 11:30am to 1:00pm at St. Charles Church in Boardman.
