YOUNGSTOWN – A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, September 7, 2017 at Petersburg Cemetery, celebrated by Jim Mock, for Bonnie Danus, 70, who passed away peacefully on September 1, 2017.

Bonnie was born November 22, 1946 in Youngstown, a daughter to Edna and Edward Fry Flickinger. While Bonnie spent several years in Aurora Colorado and abroad in Germany, she spent the largest part of her life in Youngstown, Ohio where she worked at VFW Post 93 for over 20 years.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her sister Judy (Terry) Mock, brothers Gary (Evelyn) Price and Robert (Sunny) Price, best friend and cousin Marcia Nelson, nephews Terry Lee Mock, Rodney Mock, and Eric Price, Darren, Bill, and Jake Sandy, nieces Kelly Price, Lori Voytko, Heather Riley, Kristen Gries, Rayana Price, and Diane Sandy, and Bonnie's beloved dog Gizzie.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband, Danny Danus and her brother John Flickinger.

Per Bonnie's request, there will be no public calling hours. The family has entrusted her care to the Kubina Yuhasz-Wasko Funeral Home.
