Campbell: Funeral services will be held 10am Tuesday at Archangel Michael Greek Orthodox Church with Fr. Steve Denas officiating, for Bill Vallas, 84 who passed away Friday evening. Bill was born July 17, 1928 in Kalymnos, Greece, the son of Jack and Anastasia Halikos Vallas and came to the United States and Campbell as a child. He was a 1946 graduate of Campbell Memorial High School and served his country in the U.S. Army. Bill worked as a Pipe Inspector at Youngstown Sheet and Tube Company, Campbell Works. He was a member of the church. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife the former Niki Trikilis whom he married in 1960; three sons Jack (Kathy), Emanuel and James all of Campbell; a brother, Jim (Patricia) Vallas of Austintown; and a few nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister Barbara Nistazos. The Vallas family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home and will receive friends on Monday from 5-8pm.
