CAMPBELL: Anthony Falasca Sr., 73, entered into eternal life on Sunday morning at St. Elizabeth Health Center. Services will be held on Thursday at 9:15 a.m. at the Wasko Funeral Home and a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. at St. Anthony Parish in Youngstown, celebrated by the Rev. Michael Swierz and concelebrated by the Rev. Paul Tobin and Anthony Sr.?¢s son Deacon Anthony Falasca Jr. Anthony will always forever be remembered and loved by his family and friends as a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and loyal friend, all whose lives he touched will cherish his memory forever. Tony was born Jan. 21, 1939, in Compabasso, Carovilli, Italy to the late Michael (Mikeen) and Josephine Falasca Falasca. Tony grew up in Carovilli until 1953 and he came to the United States at the age of 14. He was a graduate of Campbell Memorial High School, Class of 1958, after to which Tony worked at Isaly?¢s Dairy and Hathaway?¢s Bakery. It was at Isaly?¢s Dairy he met his wife and the love of his life of 51 years, Sara Ann Marciano Falasca. In 1966, Tony started working at General Motors Lordstown until 2000 when he retired after 34 years of service. Tony enjoyed his retirement years spending time with his family and vacationing to Italy, Argentina, Las Vegas and on Caribbean cruises. Tony was also known as a master wood craftsman and skilled builder of many projects. Tony was a member of the Carovillessi Men?¢s Society, a 3rd Degree Knight to the Knights of Columbus, St. Joseph the Provider Holy Name Society, St. Joseph the Provider Annual Parish Festival Committee, the New Middletown Sportsmen Club and a proud member of the UAW Retirees?¢. He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife of 51 years, Sara (Sally) Ann Marciano Falasca, his first true love. He also leaves his children, Deacon Anthony Jr. (Kathleen Marie) of Boardman, Vincent (Christine) of Campbell, Christine Marie (Keith) Baglama of Boardman and Debra Jean (Michael) Spossetti of Struthers. He also leaves six grandchildren, Anthony and Ava Baglama, Alyssa Spossetti, Brian and Melissa Keish and Jennifer Kadilak and a great-grandson, Nicholas Anthony. Tony also has two surviving siblings, his fraternal twin brother, Joseph (Amy) Falasca and sister Angela Carano. Tony was preceded into eternal life by his daughter, Tina Marie Falasca; a grandson, Christian Lucas Baglama; and a sister, Mrs. Ida Falasca Carano. As always, Tony?¢s love of life, friendship, people and most importantly God, he gave again the gift of life through his organs and Life Bank so someone else may live in God?¢s love and mercy. The Falasca family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home and will receive friends on Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home, where a prayer service will be held at 5 p.m. by Anthony?¢s son, Deacon Anthony Falasca Jr.
