Trenton, MI: Funeral services will be held 9:30am Thursday at the Wasko Funeral Home and 10am in St. Lucy Catholic Church in Campbell for Angeline ââ?¬Å?Angie쳌 LaBruno, 88 who passed away Saturday afternoon. Angie was born July 20, 1922 in Youngstown, the daughter of Fred and Catherine Cimino Catania. She was a 1940 graduate of Campbell Memorial High School and went on to become a Beautician working for Betty Simon?¢s on Market St. in the 1940?¢s and 1950?¢s and later became self employed in Campbell. She also worked at Hills Department Store in the receiving department. She was a life long member of the church, past president of the Infant Guild, member of the Altar and Rosary Society and was very active in the Friday Kitchen, Bingo and the festivals. She was also president of the McCartney School PTA and president of the Campbell Memorial High School PTA. Her husband, Victor LaBruno whom she married on Aug. 27, 1955 passed away in April of 1976. She leaves to cherish her memory her son Richard LaBruno of Trenton, MI and a sister Ann Hudak of Hubbard. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Victor; an infant son, Victor Michael, a sister Carmel Tadla and a brother Richard Catania. The LaBruno family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home in Campbell and will receive friends Wednesday evening from 4-7pm.
