Stow…Funeral services will be held Monday at 2:00 p.m. at the Wasko Funeral Home, with Father Michael Swierz officiating, for Angeline Josephine Carballo, 77, formerly of Campbell, who passed away in Akron General Hospital Hospice Care, after living in Stow Glen Nursing Home in Stow the past four years. Angeline was born December 17, 1935, in Youngstown, the daughter of Fred and Lucille (Cappello) Ramos. She was a South High School graduate. Her husband, Jose Carballo, whom she married May 12, 1955, passed away October 1, 2009. Angeline leaves to cherish her memory, her son, Michael Carballo of Campbell; a daughter, Linda (Brian) Carder of Stow; her brothers, Fred (Barbara) Ramos of Campbell and Thomas (Carol) Ramos of Sandusky; a sister, Theresa (Tom) Carline of Poland; two grandchildren, Marilyn (Jeff) Anzevino of Stow and John (Jolene) Hostal of Lewis Center; and three great-grandchildren, Nathan Deisner, Ella Anzevino and John Hostal, Jr. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Jose. The Carballo family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home and will receive friends Monday afternoon from 1-2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Angeline's name to Akron General Visiting Nurse Service Hospice and Palliative Care Center, 3358 Ridgewood Road, Akron, 44333.
