He was a family dentist for 47 years. He had been president and actively involved in Corydon Palmer Dental Society. He was a United States Navy veteran and served as a dentist during World War II in the Great Lakes Naval Base in Illinois. He was an active member and officer of Curbstone Coaches. In his day, he was an avid golfer and bowler. He was a lifelong Cleveland and Ohio State sports fan. He leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife of 71 years, Mary (Wigginton) Wansack; his daughter Jan (Dr. Bob) Johnson; grandchildren Dr. Erik, Kevin and Krista Johnson, his sister Ann, and his nephews Jerry and Jim Wansack. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter Barbie and his brother Matt Wansack.
