Campbell: Funeral services will be held 11am Wednesday in the Wasko Funeral Home and 11:30am at St. Stephens of Hungary Church for Albert J. Tarcy, 92 , who passed away Saturday evening. Albert was born Feb. 17, 1919 in Farrell, Pa. the son of Joseph and Anne Treier Tarcy. He was a 1937 graduate of Farrell High School and went on to serve his country in the U.S. Navy where he served on the USS Marblehead and received the Victory Medal, American Campaign Medal, European-African-Middle Eastern-1 Star. Albert worked at Westinghouse Electric Corp. for 40 years retiring in 1981, prior to then he was a watch and clock repairman in Youngstown. He was a lifetime member of the church where he was a councilman, Campbell Senior Citizens 1418 and Knights of Columbus, Marion Council 3813 Albert enjoyed gardening, golf and loved to dance; he instilled in his children and grandchildren the values of honesty and integrity and was a very humble man. His wife the former Helen Kish whom he married March 7, 1945 passed away Dec. 21, 2010. He leaves to cherish his memory 3 sons, Albert ââ?¬Å?Jerry쳌 and daughter-in-law Darlene Tarcy of New Castle, Pa., Robert and daughter-in-law Roxane of Campbell and William Tarcy of Dublin; one daughter Barbara Tarcy of Campbell; 5 grandchildren Lisa Tarcy of Erie, Pa., M ark Tarcy of New Castle, Samantha Tarcy of Cleveland, Caitlin Tarcy of Campbell and Ryan Tarcy of Dublin; sisters-in-law, Marge Tarcy of Greenville, Pa. and Lillian Madden of Brookfield and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Helen; brothers William and Joseph and sisters Ann (Frank) Burich and Mary Tarcy. The Tarcy family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home and will receive friends Tuesday from 5-8pm.
