Agripino Serrano Sr., 86 Campbell…Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 11:30 a.m. at the Wasko Funeral Home for Agripino Serrano, Sr., 86, who passed away Friday morning at his home. Agripino was born December 16, 1927, in Humacao, Puerto Rico, the son of Luis and Atanasia Santana Serrano. Agripino retired after 30 years of service from Youngstown Sheet and Tube, Campbell Works, where he was a blast furnace operator. He was a member of Christ the Good Shepherd Parish at Sta. Rosa de Lima Catholic Church. Agripino loved spending time in his garden and landscaping his home. He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, the former Ana Lydia Colon; his sons, Agripino (Jennifer) Serrano, Jr. of Charlotte, N.C., Angel (Michelle) Serrano of Nashville, Tennessee, and Orlando Serrano of Campbell; a brother, Tita Serrano of Puerto Rico; a sister, Margie Serrano of Philadelphia; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Agripino was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, and five brothers. The Serrano family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home and will receive friends Tuesday evening from 5-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
